11am March 9 CRAFT BITES Two playwrights read a 10 minute excerpt of their work, then have a lively discussion about the craft of writing. Kirsten read from ALL MY DAY JOBS, then had a chat with colleague Richard Lee Kitchen. Presented by Playwrights Guild of Canada on Zoom.

Kirsten celebrated 10 years of teaching stand up comedy to hundreds of students from all walks of life; she has hosted 31 hilarious 'grad' showcases to crowds of friends, family, colleagues and complete strangers. December would have been the 10th ANNUAL HO HO HO SHOW so she invited past students to post their debut performances on social media. show photos at www.broadtheatrics.com
~ Sept. thru Dec. PASSION & PERFORMANCE Kirsten was delighted to spend many, many hours over the fall, and all summer, dancing with this troupe.
~ Nov: CINEVIC presented a Cold Reading of six screenplay excerpts. Kirsten's sitcom pilot JACKPOT was selected to be performed on Zoom: "A young newlywed couple win a huge lottery jackpot but vow not to let it change them."
~ Nov: Orlando's CFL SKETCHFEST Kirsten delighted Florida audiences with her solo character act at the inaugural 2019 event. The 2020 Festival went virtual and she appeared in a taped sketch. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCuECThzfhWz04S3Y
~ Oct: KVR played a cameo role in CANCELLED STAMP a short film set in 1920's Vaudeville era, written and directed by Joyce Kline, a fellow Cinespark finalist.
~ Sept: Kirsten starred in ROADKILL, a dramatic thriller she wrote, directed by Octavian Kaul and now in post-production. Watch this space for news of all the film Premieres. (photo below left)

STREAM Kirsten played "Maria" in this intensely dark and funny play set in a dystopian future. Emerging Voices staged reading at Theatre One, written by David Gow, directed by Nicolle Nattrass at the Port Theatre Lobby, Nanaimo.
HOUSE AT POOH CORNER This beloved story was told through puppetry in a new adaptation written by director Roderick Glanville. Kirsten played "Piglet" and "Kanga". Kaleidoscope Theatre at MacPherson Playhouse. (Photo below right)
RADIOLAND '48 is a cheeky one-act screwball romantic comedy written by Kirsten. Set in 1948 ~ "Sparks fly as employees try to save their beloved radio station before it closes forever"
In February RADIOLAND ’48 was selected for Theatre One's Emerging Voices workshop and staged reading at the Port Theatre Lobby , where it received enthusiastic feedback and laughter. Dramaturgy and direction by Nicolle Nattrass. Read the Feature article In April, Kirsten starred alongside Robert Conway, Darrien Gaetz, Melissa Kahan and Charles Martin in a Zoom play reading hosted by Janet Munsil for The Canadian Play Thing.
