Based in Victoria since 2011, Kirsten is a professional actor who has lived in six cities in Canada and has performed in theatres across North America. A critically acclaimed and multi-talented performer, she has played leading roles in dramas, comedies and musicals, as well as in film and television, voice over and radio. She is acclaimed as an improvisor and comedienne, bringing her unique and hilarious solo character pieces to numerous comedy variety stages and festivals. (see comedy credits here) . Kirsten is the founding Artistic Director of Broad Theatrics, a theatre company best known for SIN CITY LIVE IMPROV Serial, a wildly successful weekly show that was directed by and co-produced with partner Ian Ferguson, and ran for more than 150 episodes over 8 seasons. A member of the Playwrights Guild of Canada, Kirsten has written a number of plays, and created & toured several solo shows. (this is her writing page)

While performing in the theatre and auditioning for TV/Film projects, in recent years she has returned to her life long passion for dance; training and performing primarily with Passion & Performance Studio. (photos on the Dance Gallery )

Stewart ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE - RADIO PLAY Nov. 17 to Dec. 23, 2023 Chemainus Theatre Festival Kirsten was thrilled to spend the fall in Chemainus, performing in the radio play version of this beloved classic holiday movie. MAD LADY PEEL: THE FUNNIEST WOMAN IN THE WORLD 7pm Sunday, Oct. 22 Intrepid Theatre Club A staged reading of this musical about the life of famed comedienne Beatrice Lillie. The full-length play is written by and starred Kirsten, performed with a cast of 9 actors. Oct. 1 at CCPA The surprise musical was LUCKY STIFF! A wacky farce performed by a large cast who had not met nor had any rehearsals prior to performance! Kirsten played comedic villainess RITA LA PORTA with music direction by Nancy Curry. THE LAST FRONTIER Sat. Sept. 9 Roxy Theatre Following a one- week rehearsal with a stellar cast, a public STAGED READING/performance of this new musical by Michael Armstrong and Beth Devolder. It is the story of a doctor and his young wife who move to a remote northern Minnesota Logging town in the 1920's. Kirsten played Jane the Minister's wife, Frenchie a logger, and others.
